2020 was a challenging year for everyone. There was a lot to deal with. Chadwick Boseman died. The world literally stopped thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. Nigeria became embroiled in the ENDSARS protests. ASUU went on strike.
A lot of people wanted to cancel the year and start over. Well, we have the chance to start over in 2021. We can consolidate our gains and to improve on our losses.
That is exactly how we feel at L’avis. 2020 has been many things, but most importantly, it is the year we started. It is the year we took our first breath in the digital world.
In this December issue, we reflect on how far we have come and how high we can fly. Lilian Aina examined how Nigerian music has changed over the course of the year. Our partner photographer, Diamond Iris Photography offers a photographic introspection.
We spoke with Mr. Abiodun Olaku on the rise of hyperralist artists in Nigeria. We also have a Christmas reading list and choice selection for Christmas music. There is an article expressing gratitude to those who put their lives on the line for us during the coronavirus pandemic.
It’s with pleasure and heartfelt wishes that We present to you the December issue of L’avis Magazine.
We wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in Advance
