It’s that time of the year again, the season of love, when people who deeply care about each other sit themselves down to watch movies. Not just any kind of movies, the kind that gets them in the feels, and occasionally leads to a baby being born 9 months after.
Here’s a list of movies you lovebirds should watch, and single people should probably stay away from leat they start getting the urge to call up their exes. Let’s get started!
This movie needs no introduction, it is one of the greatest romance movies of all time. I’ve seen it, you’ve seen it, and there’s no better time to see again than now.
The 1998 movie famously stars Leonardo di Caprio and Kate winslet in it’s lead roles, and in attestation to the power of this movie, the duo have come to share a powerful bond since their starring roles as the tragic lovestruck couple Jack and Rose. Intense is an understatement. Get those tissues ready.

This deeply passionate movie tells of the difficulties of love when economic class disparity rears its ugly head.
Starring Ryan Gosling,Racheal McAdams, and James Garner, you’ve simply got to see this again.
- Shape of Water
This controversial multi award-winning movie makes it into our list, despite just how radical it is. Many debates have been had about where the lines of social acceptability of love are drawn. This movie challenges even the most basic assumptions, and gives a weird new interpretation to the expression “sleep with the fish”.
