L’AVIS SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We are always happy to accept writers with great ideas and insightful take on issues. What we seek is originality, sincerity and a well thought out analysis. We want writings that would provide fresh angles on existing issues and insightful discourse on issues that do not get the attention they deserve.
News Commentary: A review of a new item that puts the events into context for the reader. We are interested in pieces that analyze trends and provide insights.
Features: A well-drawn out take on issues with researched points, a well-thought argument and a strong unapologetic voice.
Quick takes: Opinion/observations on events, norms, trends. It can come in the form of satire, one line puns, cartoons and short essays.
First Person: These are personal thoughts on political, social and cultural issues.
Lifestyle guide: Tips on how to improve one’s relationship, health, finance and more
